From Bali (Kusamba Harbour)
Faster than Sanur if you're coming from Ubud or the east.
Kusamba is a small local harbour on Bali's east coast, much closer to Ubud, Sidemen and the eastern beaches. The crossing is shorter (about 30 minutes) but the boats are simpler — traditional wooden boats, not the polished fast-boat fleet.
Cheaper and less touristy than Sanur, but with fewer departures and no online booking to speak of. Ask your Bali driver to sort tickets on arrival.
Skip this route if you're prone to seasickness in small boats — the fast boats out of Sanur are more stable.
