Suwahen Beach
A near-empty cove for people who want to be alone.
Suwahen barely makes it onto the standard tour circuit and that's the point. A long, steep stairway drops through the cliffs to a small white-sand cove where you'll usually see two or three people, not two or three hundred.
There are no warungs, no chairs, and no shade at the bottom. Bring water, snacks, and a hat. Pack out everything you pack in.
The climb back up is the hardest of any beach on the island. Don't go in the middle of the day.
